Initial Discussion - Initial contacts and information exchange about project. Design ideas discussed, often including sketches or mock-ups. Agreement reached on intentions to proceed and costs. Scope of work approved. Project placed into production queue.

Design - Comprehensive Design Proof(s) - known as Comps - produced. One design is chosen and revised until approved to put into full production. This design may be essentially the same as that arrived at in discussion phase, or it may be revised.

Production - Artwork in production based on approved design. Text ideally should be written concurrently so the artwork and text complement each other both spatially and in content.

Proof(s) - Artwork proof in PDF fom sent to client for approval and comment. Revisions made if needed.

Delivery - Artwork electronically transmitted to vendor of client's choice for fabrication.
